So last night was one of the girls in my department's annual gumbo party and white elephant gift exchange. It was a lot of fun, though I ended arriving late and subsequently felt like an outsider often during the night...but still it was really good to get to see almost everyone before I leave.

After almost everyone else left, three of the girls (including the hostess) couldn't decide if they were going out or not and we ended up all sitting around and just talking and laughing about stuff. It was really fun and one of the girls suggested that I go to this website, icanhascheeseburger.com So I did, and fell in love with it and its partner site, ihasahotdog.com.

Yesterday I finished the last class I ever intend to take, at least as a student anyway. It's a very strange feeling, being done like this. I don't know how I feel about this, especially since being a full-time student has been my full-time job up until now.

So I'm kinda sad at ending my life as a student, and kinda scared about having to go out and be a grown up now, and kinda happy that this semester and my painful time in the South are coming to an end.

Hmm.
